As a subscriber to my Wellness blog, I will be posting recipes, tips and healthy living ideas periodically. I have had a number of requests for my gluten-free bread recipe.
I wanted to make a couple notes:
1. I proof the yeast separately for about 10 minutes before I mix it all together. Just place mix the warm water/milk, honey and yeast together and let it sit for about 10 minutes or until foamy.
2. Before baking, I spritz with olive oil and sprinkle with herb seasoning. You can also do this just after it comes out of the oven.
3. I heat a cup of water in the microwave for 2 minutes. Remove the water then place your bread dough in the steamy microwave and let rise before baking in the over.
4. You can sub sorghum or brown rice flour for the garfava.
