This principle comes from the martial arts: never consider the negative. It means you are about to engage in battle, decide what you are going to do and do it. Don’t visualize yourself getting hit and pummeled, or that is what will happen. The focus should be on moving forward.
As a health and wellness coach, that is my job: helping you move forward. Keeping the plan positive and focusing on where you want to go, instead of where you don’t want to go, is the key. Keep looking forward and focus on the path ahead. Your body will follow. That is coaching advice for life!
